Traci VanSant, a licensed CPA with a Masters degree in Taxation, is presently employed as a Solution Architect with CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business.  In this role she serves as the product technical expert for sales of the ProSystem fx Suite solutions to corporations.  Previously she’s held several hands on roles from that of senior accountant to director of income taxes for either public accounting firms or large multinational manufacturing or banking corporations.  Traci volunteered as a webinar host in February, 2015 and provides meaningful training to veterans returning to civilian workforce.  She says, “Being able to give back to those that sacrifice so much for us and our country is rewarding.”

Mary volunteered in several capacities at Project:  Return To Work Inc.  (R2W).

With over 35 years of management and consulting experience, Mary has applied her award-winning approach to successfully implement business strategies, improve performance and increase employee morale while working with numerous Fortune 500 clients, U.S. federal government agencies, and a variety of other businesses.

Several of her workgroups have won industry excellence awards and have been featured as outstanding examples at three industry research analyst symposiums.

Mary Vaughn is the author of “The Gruntled Employee” book, a holistic approach to creating success and happiness at work. Mary Vaughn is also the president of Metargy, Inc. which provides the following consulting services: personal coaching, leadership development, relationship management, organizational change, organizational culture, and governance.

Mary lives in Parker, Colo. with her family. She loves her job, hiking, skiing, dancing and board games.

Jose was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia. He has lived in the United States for over 10 years. Jose worked in the banking industry for about 8 years and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He worked for a non-profit in Colombia helping with social investment projects for a small town in the country side and recently volunteered as a board member for Intercambio Uniting Communities in Boulder, Colorado. Jose says, “I am willing to help, and R2W is a good cause. “

Born in Evanston, Illinois & raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.  I spent 10 years in Arizona before becoming a permanent Colorado resident in 1990.  I have eight years of experience in the Broadcast industry, working as a News Director for a radio station in California & as Programmer Assistant for the NBC affiliate in Phoenix, Arizona.  Worked as a freelance copywriter for radio & television, as well.   I pretty much returned to accounting & office management for the remainder of my working career.   Being on the staff of Return 2 Work is an honor & I hope to be of great assistance to those in need of finding gainful employment.

  R2W is proud to promote the recent story about our very own Mr. Jason Scholte who was featured in an article by www.thankyouforyourservice.us Jason Scholte has been a volunteer with Project:  Return To Work Inc. (R2W) since 2011. Jason originally came to us as a client and has been working with R2W since his return from deployment in 2005.

He has been instrumental in helping R2W with its marketing efforts, website development and maintenance, and has helped facilitate relationships with Veterans, Employers, and various agencies like ESGR. He even created the popular www.mvee.org website in 2012 which serves as an extension of support to Veterans seeking employment in Colorado.


Jason Scholte is a service-connected disabled Veteran who resides in Park City, UT. Mr. Scholte currently serves as the US Foreign Studies Advisor and Military & Veterans POC (Point of contact) for Griffith University, Queensland Australia.

He also volunteers his time to Project:  Return To Work Inc. (R2W) as a Marketing Consultant and Employer Liaison, (www.return2work.org)

R2W is a non-profit “Veterans Service Organization” based in Denver, Colorado. R2W helps Veterans find employment by using a proprietary “personality & career profiler” that is linked with a “jobs database”. This unique tool allows R2W to accurately identify the careers feilds Veterans will be most successful in.

Jason Scholte has worked in higher education for over 12 years in roles ranging from Associate Director of Admissions to Campus President for both Nationally Accredited Colleges and a Regionally Accredited University.

Griffith University, in response to the increasing number of Veterans using their Post 9/11 GI Bill to study in the Gold Coast of Australia appointed Jason Scholte to a national level position of US Foreign Studies Advisor in June of 2012.

Mr. Scholte is a Certified Title IV School Administrator through the US Department of Education and has over 10 years of VA GI Bill administrative experience. Jasons Griffith University page is found here http://www.griffith.edu.au/vetsusa

Suzanne Taylor

Suzanne is a United States Air Force Veteran who served 4 years active duty as a Security Forces Member/ Military Police.  After her enlistment, Suzanne completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida, and holds a Master of Arts Degree in Human Resources Management from Webster University.

After transitioning from military to civilian life herself, Suzanne understands the importance of ensuring both our veterans and returning service members receive the assistance they need in order to find a fulfilling civilian career.

In her free time, Suzanne enjoys ocean kayaking and fishing.

Since 1998 Gary has owned and operated YourOffice-Denver, an executive suite business center offering full service office rentals and virtual office services to small businesses.  Prior to starting his current business, Gary had a 20 year technology related career with Conoco, Boeing and Software AG in technical support and sales roles.

Gary graduated from Colorado State University in 1978 with a Bachelors Degree in Statistics.

In his spare time Gary enjoys hunting and fishing and time with his family.  Gary is married and has 3 adult children.
